Singer Enrique Iglesias has pledged to ski naked in Biscayne Bay if Spain win the World Cup in South Africa.
Iglesias, who is a passionate football fan, made the daring skiing promise while promoting his new album, Euphoria, during crucial World Cup matches.
“If Spain win, I’m going to get drunk and ski naked in Biscayne Bay,” said Enrique. “That is what we used to do when we were kids.”
He continued: “If Spain didn’t qualify to the next round it would be like writing one of the greatest songs of all time and no-one being able to hear it.”
Enrique is pleased with his new album, which is released on July 5, and particularly enjoys the happy moments he finds in a number of the songs.
“The title is about when you try to find those euphoric moments, like when you feel really, really good about a song,” he explains. “I feel like I was able to find four or five of those on this album, which I feel happy about.”
Perhaps the next time Enrique experiences a moment of euphoria will be skiing in Miami after a Spanish victory in the World Cup final.
